Angel Foster

Angel Foster started writing about sports while serving in the U.S. Navy, where she wrote about the amazing military athletes serving in Norfolk, Virginia.

After the Navy, Foster moved to Lakewood, Colorado, where she wrote community news and sports for LaVoz and Colorado Woman News. Foster was also on the media staff for the women’s professional basketball team, the Colorado Xplosion.

For a brief time, Foster was a sports reporter for the Greenville Daily Advocate, in Ohio, where she covered everything from little league and rodeos to the Special Olympics, before she returned to Colorado in 1999.

Foster attended Metropolitan State University of Denver and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in news and editorial journalism. While attending MSU Denver, Foster was a sports reporter, sports editor, columnist and features editor for The Metropolitan newspaper.

Since graduating, Foster has done some freelance work for Collage Digital Media and TEDx Arena Circle. Now, as the Editor-in-Chief of Colorado Woman Sports, Foster is dedicated to giving women’s sports the coverage it deserves.
